Head & shoulders has declared the 2013 MLB season as the season of the Whiff. For every whiff (strikeout) tweet, Head and Shoulders will donate 1$ to the MLB Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities program. (RBI)

So every time a Dodger pitcher records a whiff, or you see a whiff from anyone wearing a Dodger uniform, we encourage you to tweet using the hashtag #Whiff@Dodgers. Or basically the hashtag of #Whiff followed by the team’s twitter handle. Head & Shoulders will donate ten thousand dollars at the end of each month to the MLB team with the most tweets using the hashtag #Whiff and their team handle.

For every Dodger whiff, tweet using the hashtag #Whiff@Dodgers, and help contribute to the season of the whiff!-Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

You can also use the hashtag #Whiff followed by a Dodger player’s twitter handle as well. (have they freed Jhair’s twitter yet?) You can always tweet #Whiff followed by @Dodgers whenever you feel the need to help out. Lasorda’s Lair and Head & Shoulders encourage you to join in the conversation and contribute to the cause whenever you see a Dodger whiff.

If Clayton Kershaw is on the mound then that can turn out to be a really great day for the kids, bless their little Blue hearts. We encourage you to help us and participate all season long, as the season of the #Whiff continues!

You can find more information about the program here.

Also don’t forget to follow the official Head & Shoulders Twitter here.

Please don’t forget to use the hashtag #Whiff followed by the Dodgers twitter handle every time you see a Dodger strikeout. Each tweet helps donate more money to the program.

Please help out the cause!

And of course, as always…..Go Blue!

Bison has a long list of past charity endeavors. If you remember Bison did a dreamfield dedication in the city of Compton back in 2007, Christmas visits to Watts, and the city if Hope hospital in Duarte, and his 2008 program called “Kemp’s Kids”, where he hosted kids at Dodger Stadium. Kemp has raised over 400,000 dollars for families with Autistic children, at his annual spring training fundraiser, and there was also the Dodger’s community caravan, and his participation in the Dodgers dream foundation bowling extravaganza. Kemp was honored for his charity work last winter, along with Kershaw with a legacy award, by the Negro Leagues Museum.

The good cheer will continue when Kemp will be the celebrity grand marshal in the 28 annual Kingdom day parade to recognize Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Kemp who is making great progress during his shoulder rehabilitation, will be joined by a slew of former Dodgers. The list will include Bobby Castillo, Tommy Davis, Al Ferrara, Sweet Lou Johnson, Lee Lacy, Ken Landreaux, Tim Leary, Wes Parker, Dennis Powell, Derrel Thomas, and Maury Wills. Apparently all of the former Dodgers will be riding in the back of a firetruck. A Dodger firetruck if you will.

The Dodgers are a sponsor of the parade which will feature the theme of “His dream will never die”. The parade starts at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and Western Avenue, and will be televised live on KABC Channel 7. The parade will begin this Saturday morning at 10:30 A.M.
