While the Dodgers are traveling back to Arizona to take on the D-backs this weekend, the minor league players are opening their season up on Thursday. Jim Callis of MLB.com has compiled a list of where the Dodgers’ top 30 prospects are starting their season off within the Dodgers farm system.

The Dodgers’ top two prospects, Corey Seager and Julio Urias, will be headlining the double-A Tulsa roster to begin 2015. The Tulsa Drillers, the Dodgers new AA affiliate, will be an exciting team to watch with Seager, Urias, Chris Anderson, Chin-hui Tsao and Chris Reed all on the team. Newly promoted pitching coach Matt Herges will work with Julio Urias again now in AA.

Chris Anderson will start for the Drillers on Opening Day with Julio Urias slated to pitch on Friday night versus San Antonio.

More from Dodgers Way

The new front office regime has been working hard over the offseason (and into the regular season) to add depth to the minor league system. With a big move to Oklahoma from Albuquerque and Chattanooga, the Dodgers look to begin a new legacy of baseball in the Sooner State.

Scott Baker, a new Dodger acquisition, will be starting for the AAA Oklahoma City Dodgers on Opening Day. Their rotation is quite strong with Baker, Carlos Frias, Zach Lee, Joe Wieland and Mike Bolsinger.

Let’s take a look at the Opening Day lineups from around the Dodgers farm system.

Note that Chris O’Brien was slated to catch in Tulsa’s Opening Day lineup before the trade went down.

Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (A)

Oklahoma City Dodgers (AAA)

Great Lakes Loons (A)

Corey Seager and Julio Urias could be in AAA before we know it, but for now Urias will be Drilling batters in Tulsa.
