Time Warner Cable announced earlier today that they will be televising the final six Dodger games of the year on local broadcast station KDOC.

Starting on September 22nd, Time Warner Cable will simulcast the remaining six Dodger games of the season. The Dodgers are in first place and in a heated pennant race with the Giants. Those final six games could see the Dodgers clinch the National League West, and or decide the NL playoff race for both clubs. All six of those games will feature Vin Scully and his beautiful voice. Those final six games at Dodger Stadium from September 22-24 against the Giants, and from September 26-28 against Colorado will be broadcast on both SportsnetLA and local channel KDOC. KDOC is an independent broadcast station that is carried by every cable, satellite and telco provider in Southern California. You can also watch KDOC by using an antenna.

So far this season, most Dodger fans have been unable to watch the Dodgers because Time Warner Cable has yet to come to agreement with any of the other cable/satellite providers. The problem has left millions of innocent Dodger fans without Dodger access for the entire 2014 season.

This is what Time Warner Cable’s chief operating officer Dinni Jain had to say about the situation.

"“Right now, we can’t change the fact that other area TV distributors won’t carry the channel, but we don’t want anyone to miss this exciting pennant run,” Mr. Jain continued. “We hope everyone will tune in to KDOC and help us cheer on the Dodgers. We will continue to work on long-term agreements with other providers in the off season.”"
