Dodgers Acquire Justin Germano

According to Mark Saxon of ESPN Los Angeles, the Dodgers acquired relief pitcher Justin Germano from the Texas Rangers. It is not known what the Dodgers are sending back to Texas yet.

Germano appeared in two games with Texas this season, posting a 11.81 ERA in 5.1 innings pitched. He owns a career 5.40 ERA in 330 innings with the San Diego Padres, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays, and Texas Rangers. The veteran will provide minor league depth for the Dodgers and has been assigned to Triple-A Albuquerque.
