Mattingly Postgame Presser-3-27-14

This was one of the shortest Postgame Pressers that I can remember, but then again it’s an exhibition game. I showed up a couple of minutes late. Mattingly was discussing Adrian Gonzalez’s arm. Gonzo was plunked in the elbow during the bottom of the third inning, and was removed from the game for precautionary measures. Scott Van Slyke replaced him at first base.

Mattingly said Gonzo should play tomorrow, and is putting ice on the sore spot. He’s mostly just sore, and should be ok. Let’s hope. The Dodgers have also named Stephen Fife as tomorrow night’s starter against the Angels in game two of the Freeway Series.
