Carl Crawford Gets Engaged on Christmas Day

Carl Crawford proposed to pregnant girlfriend and reality star Evelyn Lozada on Christmas Day according to the Los Angeles Times. Lozada posted an Instagram photo of her huge diamond ring with the caption “YES!”

That’s one gigantic diamond ring.

The ring was designed by Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills. The 14.5-carat diamond ring, which has a 10-carat emerald cut center stone, is rumored to be worth $1.4 million. Apparently Crawford was very particular about the chosen stone, and he was involved in the design process of his future bride’s ring. That sounds like CC is in love, and we wish the couple the best of luck!

Carl Crawford’s fiancé announced that Crawford was the father of her soon-to-be born child in November. She had previously been married briefly to Chad Ochocinco, but she divorced him after there was alleged abuse.

The ring is enormous but beautiful, and hopefully Carl Crawford’s happiness off the field will translate on the field next year as he settles in for his second full season with the Dodgers. A big expensive ring is not a problem for CC who will be set to make $20.250 million with the Dodgers in 2014.
