Carl Crawford and Basketball Wives Star Evelyn Lozada Expecting Baby

Carl Crawford is going to be a daddy. It was recently revealed that Crawford is the father of Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada’s expected baby. Lozada was engaged to NBA player Antoine Walker whom she dated for ten years. She was then briefly married to NFL star Chad Johnson a.k.a. Chad Ochocinco, but they were divorced just two months after their wedding. There allegedly was a physical altercation between the couple in August, and Johnson was arrested on a domestic battery charge. Lozada accused the football player of head-butting her during an argument. There were graphic pictures of the injuries she sustained posted on TMZ. She promptly filed for divorce.

Supposedly Lozada’s fans were shocked to hear that she was pregnant since there was no indication that she had been dating anyone, although there were rumors of Crawford and Lozada’s romance during the baseball season when she was seen in a limo outside of Citi Field when the Dodgers were playing the New York Mets.

Lozada revealed that Crawford was her expected baby’s father in an omg! INSIDER interview. She had this to say about the prospect of remarrying:

"“I definitely would get married again. I still believe in love…I’m not one of those people that’s like ‘we need to get engaged, we need to get married.’ No, absolutely not. I feel like that’s going to come, just like with the baby, let it come. I’m not forcing anything, so if it happens, it happens.”"

Lozada, 37, has one 20-year old daughter Shaniece Hairston. Evelyn and Carl’s baby is due in late March. Hopefully Crawford will not be in Australia at the time of his child’s birth.
