Tommy Lasorda Appearance At Irwindale Speedway For Breast Health Awareness Saturday Night

Our very own Tommy Lasorda will be visiting the Irwindale event center this Saturday October 5th for their Dodger appreciation night. The event is to help support breast health and to raise awareness for the city of hope.

Our site namesake and Dodger legend Tommy Lasorda will be on hand as will broadcaster Jorge Jarrin. Tickets are only 15 dollars per person, and 2.50 of every ticket is donated to the city of hope.  Tommy will be giving a speech and saying “start your engines” before the races begin, and Jorge Jarrin will be the announcer.

I don’t know much about cars, but there will be bandoleros there, whatever those are. There will also be mini stocks, Lucas Oil late models, and Legend cars. There is also something called two dollar Tour series pick your part skid plate racing. I must admit I have no idea what any of that stuff is, but it all sounds very cool if you’re into that sort of thing. Tickets are only 15 bucks and go towards a great cause. If you wear Dodger gear then you get five dollars off of admission.
