Los Angeles Celebrities Come Out To Support Dodgers On Opening Day

Nearly the entire city of Los Angeles came out yesterday afternoon to support the Dodgers and cheer them onto victory. We were all given a wonderful treat, as Clayton Kershaw tossed a historic opening day 94 pitch 4-hit complete game shut-out win, while also hitting the go-ahead solo home run in the bottom of the eighth frame, which sealed the Dodger’s victory over the evil world champion Giants.

Of course the rest of the Dodgers contributed as well. Matt Kemp had an important at-bat In the first inning in which he fouled off ten Matt Cain pitches to run his pitch count up. Luis Cruz made several solid defensive plays, and Carl Crawford collected two hits, and scored a run in his Dodger debut.

Before the game, many celebrities were on hand to lend a helping hand to support the Boys in Blue. From Kobe Bryant, Snoop, Britney Spears, and Alyssa Milano among others. Check out the pre-game video below that was shown on the Dodger Stadium video boards just before the ceremonial first pitch. Tommy Lasorda and Maury Wills get the ball rolling, or flying, as the entire city of Los Angeles celebrated Clayton Kershaw’s complete and utter domination over the evil Giants.
