Dodgers Holiday Tour Reminder- Meet Punto and Leary in Valencia

I’d like to take a moment to say that we at Lasorda’s Lair have the people of Newtown, Connecticut in our thoughts. The horrific tragedy which befell Sandy Hook Elementary really broke my heart today. As a mother of two young children, one of which is a kindergartener, the news of the slaughter of innocent children and teachers literally brought me to tears this morning. To hurt a beautiful child is an unfathomable and selfish act. Writing about baseball seems trivial in light of the events of Friday, December 14, 2012, yet in many ways baseball and other family activities and past times can help take one’s mind off this senseless act of evil.

A great way to spend time with your loved ones who are Dodger fans is to visit one of the Dodger Holiday Mall Tour stops. There are two remaining dates left on the tour, and on Saturday, December 15th, the second -to-last stop will be at the Westfield Valencia shopping mall.

session. Tim Leary will be available for autographs from 3 pm-7 pm. There are family friendly activities at the mall tour stops including prize giveaways and kids’ crafts. Dodger representatives are also there, and fans are able to purchase mini-plans and season tickets.

The final stop of the tour will be on Saturday, December 22nd at the Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance. The players scheduled to make appearances will be released at a later date.
