Eric Eadington, Onelki Garcia, Red Patterson, Chris Reed, Andres Santiago, Gorman Erickson, Rafael Ynoa, and Joc Pederson are the prospects sent to play in the Fall League by the Dodgers. Yasiel Puig, who was originally slated to play in the AFL, is recovering from a staph infection in his elbow.

Joc Pederson, the left-handed top prospect out of Palo Alto High School, has batted .103 so far in 8 games played. He only has 3 hits in his 29 at bats. Pederson will be playing for the AA-Chattanooga Lookouts in 2013. Pederson hit .313 with 18 homeruns and 48 extra-base hits in 110 games at Rancho Cucamonga last season.

Gorman Erickson, a catcher, is hitting .300 so far in 8 games for the Mesa Solar Sox. He has two doubles and 1 RBI in 20 at bats. On Friday, “Griff” Erickson helped the MSS snap their 10-game losing streak by stealing home to tie the game up in the eventual 8-4 win.

Infielder Rafael Ynoa has played in 13 games, and he has posted a .319 batting average thus far. He has 15 hits, 2 homeruns, and 9 RBIs in 47 at bats. He had a 12-game hitting streak which was snapped on Friday.

He pitched in two minor league games for the Dodgers- one in A-Rancho Cucamonga and the other a playoff game in AA-Chattanooga. He struck out 11 of the 15 batters he faced.
