Apparently the Bison is a Clipper fan. I’m more of a Laker fan myself, but I got love for both LA Basketball teams. Last Wednesday night, Dodger center fielder Matt Kemp attended a Clippers game at the Staples Center, with his mom Judy. Prime Ticket’s Kristina Pink interviewed Kemp while at the game. Kemp goes on to talk about his childhood friendship with Clipper’s forward Blake Griffin, and his ongoing shoulder rehab.
Kemp and his buddy Griffin are both from Oklahoma City, and if you remember Blake Griffin threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Dodgers game earlier this season. Both of them grew up together, and have remained close friends. As for his shoulder rehab, Kemp says he won’t be able to swing a bat until January, but will be ready by the start of spring training. Kemp went on to say he wishes he was playing in the playoffs right now, but said he’s happy to be watching and rooting for his friend at Staples Center.
