I'm not downplaying Ethier's inability to drive in runs in that situation, but I'm anti-bunt in general.  First, shouldn't we be playing to win at home and not to tie? Second, Mark Ellis would have seen some good pitches with Kemp on deck. I would have much rather taken a chance and perhaps had both Kemp and Ethier up to bat with the opportunity to drive in some runs.  I thankfully fell asleep early after that bunting catastrophe.
