What a special day. Not only did I get to experience Opening Day with the thousands of other Dodger fans, but I got to spend it with my brother Scott. We’ve had many memories shared together at Dodger Stadium, and every time I see the gorgeous emerald field I am reminded of the memories once again. There are not only memorable moments on the field, but there also those that are personal for us fans. There has been many players in the last 50 years to wear Dodger Blue, but the most important character of all has been Dodger Stadium itself. Here’s to another 50 magical years!
Stacie is a freelance writer, filmmaker, and mom to her two young daughters. She received her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Cinema-Television from the University of Southern California. Some of her interests include cinema, snowboarding, bicycling, baking, and rooting for her favorite team, the Los Angeles Dodgers. One of her fondest memories is going to Dodger Stadium with her Uncle and brother Scott when she was young. Mike Scioscia is her favorite all-time player, and she had the opportunity to meet him as a child. Stacie writes about baseball and the Dodgers from a unique woman's perspective, and she looks forward to sharing her love of the Dodgers and baseball with other fans.
