Dodgers release Spring Training Broadcast Schedule-Vinny to Call Three Spring Games

The Dodgers have released their spring training television broadcast schedule. We have learned that the Dodgers will televise 18 spring training games, and Vin Scully will announce two of them. We had previously thought that Vinny would not announce any of the spring games, but then we found out that he will be announcing two games in Arizona. Vin Scully, the greatest broadcaster in sports history, will be blessing us with another year of his beautiful voice. We will get to hear his beautiful voice for the first time this year on March 17th.

Scully will announce the games on March 17th and March 18th at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona. The March 17th game is a 7:05 PM game against the Giants. The March 18th game is a 1:05 PM game against the Angels. Vinny will also announce the Dodgers/Angels freeway series game on April 3rd at Dodger Stadium. This will be Vin Scully’s 63rd season with the Dodgers

The broadcast team from last season returns intact. Vin Scully will return as the voice of the Dodgers. The duo of Steve Lyons and Eric Collins return for the broadcasts on Prime Ticket. Charley Steiner and Rick Monday will return to call all radio broadcasts. Also returning will be the team from the Dodgers Spanish radio station KTNQ 1020. The team consists of hall of fame broadcaster Jamie Jarrin, Pepe Yñiguez, and Fernando Valenzuela. There will also be games streamed live on Dodgers.com and available on the Dodger’s radio network. The first Dodger spring game will be televised on March 6th.

Remember the Dodgers have moved to a new radio home. The new radio flagship station is now at KLAC 570 AM. The new Dodger radio home Will carry nine spring training games this season, while KTNQ will carry eight spring games.

Prime Ticket will televise 13 spring training games live, and KCAL 9 will televise two games. I have included below the complete list of the Dodgers spring training broadcast schedule. I have highlighted the games that Vin Scully will be announcing.
