Today is Justin Sellers‘ (SellBlock) Birthday. Justin is 25-years old, and was born in Bellflower, California. Sellers was originally drafted by the Athletics, and was traded from the Cubs to the Dodgers in 2009. Sellers has always been an exceptional defensive player. He won Defensive Player of the Year honors in the Hawaii Baseball League. He was also a Southern League all-star in 2009 when he was playing in the Cubs’ farm system. In 2011, the young right handed hitting infielder spent time between the Isotopes and the Dodgers. For Albuquerque, Sellers hit .304 with 14 home runs in 89 games. While with the Dodgers in 36 games, he hit .203 with 1 home run. He mostly plays second base and shortstop, but he can play all four infield positions and can provide the Dodgers with a lot of depth this season if anyone gets hurt. He is also a very nice guy. Have a great birthday Justin!
