True Blue LA Releases Top 20 Dodger Prospects

Let’s take a break from the winter meetings for a moment. I would like to share a link with you from the guys over at True Blue LA. They have released the top 20 Dodger prospects for 2012 as voted on by the True Blue LA community. As you can see, Zack Lee was voted number one on the list, followed by Allan Webster second, and Nathan Eovaldi was third. Garret Gould finished fourth, and last year’s top draft pick, Chris Reed, rounded out the top five.

The top six were all pitchers and nine of the twenty. You will notice other familiar names such as Tim Federowicz, Alex Castellanos, Scott Van Slyke, and Shawn Tolleson. Players like Jerry Sands, Javy Guerra, and Josh Lindblom were not on the list. MLB’s rookie eligibility was used to determine status. This is why the players mentioned above did not make the list. True Blue LA’s Brandon Lennox conducted the voting and put together the list. Kudos Brandon! While we continue to wait for more news from the winter meetings, check out the list.
