Daniel Vargas-Vila took a perfect game into the 7th inning to keep the Orem Owlz season alive with a 5-to-2 victory over the Ogden Raptors.
Vargas-Vila went 7 innings allowing only a single to Justin Boudreaux while striking out 9. The Raptors were remarkably still in the game trailing just 2-to-0, until the Owlz added three runs in the 9th to seal the deal.
