Dodgers Lineup vs. Cubs Tonight

Carroll SS; Sands 1B; Ethier RF; Kemp CF; Uribe 3B; Thames LF; Barajas C; De Jesus 2B; Kershaw P

A couple of interesting notes here. James Loney again sits against a left handed pitcher in favor of Jerry Sands. Sands is still in the 2nd spot in the lineup a spot in which he has struggled mightily. Also Ivan DeJesus Jr gets the start at second base tonight instead of Aaron Miles. Something I’ve been begging for since they called IDJ back up to the bigs, let’s see if he can produce and make me look good, or goes 0-4 and makes me look like an idiot.

Be sure to tune in after the game for a full recap and analysis and find out if Andre Ethier can extend his hitting streak to 28 games facing a left handed pitcher tonight.

If you like IDJ as a replacement for Miles you already qualify as an idiot. Look at there averages.

Miles is a career scrub with 9 seasons under his belt and a career OBP of .320. This year he’s hitting under .250 with and OBP under .290. That is garbage. So yes I would rather see a young player who is supposed to be part of the future play so we can find out if he’s good or not. Oh and he singled and drove in a run in his first at bat. And before you say they are wasting their time with Jerry Sands he just hit his 6th double, that scored 2 runs, in only his 11th start.
