Casey Blake is back with the team and is going to make the road trip to Colorado. According to True Blue LA’s twitter feed “Blake say’s he’s ready to play, his first possible day back is April 6; Don Mattingly said Blake looks ready.” If Blake is activated on April 6, Ivan DeJesus will likely be optioned to AAA. I realize he needs at bats but personally I’d rather see Aaron Miles get the boot.

True Blue LA also said “Don Mattingly said Jon Garland is trying to convince him he’ll be healthy for (start) April 10.”  Vicente Padilla also threw 60 pitches over 4 innings in a simulated game and is ahead of schedule to return from his injury. Let’s see if the Dodgers can get any kind of offense going tonight as they look to take the series vs the Giants. Tune in to ESPN’s Sunday Night baseball at 5PM PT.
