The outfield.  Two of the team’s biggest stars patrol the biggest part of the field.  Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier are two talented young players who have huge upside.  They must play well if the Dodgers are going to compete this season.

We need better numbers at 1st, 2nd,& 3rd. Was there ever an X-Giant that played well for the Dodgers? We need to go young, and stay young. Mattingly doesn’t even know a bunt or steal signal.

James, what about Jason Schmidt? His 45 million dollar investment (BTW the team is paying him $1.5 million for his efforts in 2011) got the Dodgers 3 wins if I remember correct. Let me do some digging there had to be a former Giant in the 50′s or 60′s that did something good as a Dodger. But you are correct the track record is not good at all.

Time to go back to the farm. I agree with James on that one. Enough with the over the hill platoon players who wind up starting due to injuries. Give the young guns their time.
