Eric Chavez to Dodgers???

There are reports circulating fans, that former Oakland A’s old glover Eric Chavez worked out for the Dodgers.

Chavez has a over two back surgeries yet in his hey day was the Brook Robinson of the Athletics.

Career stats for Chavez:

.267 BA, 230 Home runs and 787 RBIS

He would make a good addition to the bench Dodgers Fans.

    No offense, but this is old news to Dodgers fans. The more updated news is that supposedly the Dodgers raved about what they saw. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Personally, I would love for the Dodgers to invite him to spring training, if only to push Casey Blake to a higher level of play. I did read also that there are a couple of American league teams interested in Eric. As I said, it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

    The Dodgers have enough experienced ball players. We need numbers and youth. If a team lacks power it then needs speed.
