Billingsley Goes on DL

Apr. 27, 2010 - Washington, DC, United States of America - 25 April 2010: Los Angeles Dodgers' starting pitcher Chad Billingsley on the mound against the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park in Washington, DC. The Nationals shut out the Dodgers 1-0 to take the rubber match of their 3-game series. ** Editorial Sales Only.

At least there is a plausible explanation for Billingsley’s last start against the Angels, during which he got rocked to the tune of 7 ER in 5.2 IP. Billingsley will head to the DL with a groin strain. It’s likely that Carlos Monasterios will get the ball in his place.
