Dodgers Free Agency Update

As free agency moves forward this off-season, there will undoubtedly be some questions and concerns when it comes to the Los Angeles Dodgers, due to the whole McCourt divorce mess. Well, people are already concerned after the Dodgers decided not to offer arbitration to their free agents.

Now of those seven players, Randy Wolf is clearly the guy that I’d like to see return out of all of them. And though Colletti says that the Dodgers are still interested in resigning him, we’ll have to see how that plays out.

I didn’t expect Padilla, Garland, Belliard, or Ohman to return. I wasn’t really sure about Hudson or Mota. I thought both of them would probably be offered arbitration. And I was leaning more towards thinking that they would make a push to resign Wolf, due to the thin pitching staff.

We’ll continue to keep you updated on any significant moves that the Dodgers make, and hopefully they’ll get a little more serious in their talks with Wolf, so that we can at least keep one somewhat consistent pitcher from last year’s team, and try to add someone else to the mix as well
