I apologize for the lack of Dodger talk here lately, as well, the Dodgers haven’t exactly given me a whole lot to work with at this point. If the Dodgers are trying to win the award for “Team to Do the Least in an Off-Season”…..then they’re doing an awesome job of that. Because they are still lost in the shuffle when it comes to teams making moves this off-season.

Merry Christmas Dodger Fans!
I wanted to take the time to wish all you Dodger fans out there a very Merry Christmas, and hope that you have a great day!
And the search continues. That’s pretty much become the motto these days when we talk about the Dodgers search for pitching. First, they didn’t make much of an effort to re-sign Randy Wolf. Then they haven’t shown to be all that interested in Chien Ming-Wang. And now, the trade for Aaron Harang is no longer a possibility.
I’m not really sure what the Dodgers expect at this point. They’ve lost in the playoffs the past two seasons because of pitching. They thought they fixed the problem heading into this season, but that obviously didn’t work when it came down to [...]
Several noteworthy things to pass along here on Lasorda’s Lair, as the Dodgers are starting to make a little noise in terms of free agency. While the noise isn’t particularly loud, it is noise nonetheless. LA has officially signed second baseman Jamey Carroll, and may be exploring a trade for Reds’ pitcher Aaron Harang.
Juan Pierre Headed to Chicago
Some breaking news to pass along here, as Tim Brown of Yahoo Sports is reporting that Dodger “do-everything” man Juan Pierre is heading to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for two minor-league pitchers.
There have been some rumors heating up that the Dodgers could have some type of interest in former Yankees’ pitcher Chien-Ming Wang.
The winter meetings are officially over, and Dodger management has left with pretty much the same thing they went in with: a disorganized roster. Which brings me to ask……what the hell is going on?
Some big news today regarding the Dodgers’ pitching staff, as the Milwaukee Brewers have officially made an offer to Randy Wolf, and it looks like we’ll find out sometime today whether or not Wolf will accept the deal or not.
Some interesting off-season news today, as there are rumors out there that the Dodgers have inquired about the Marlins’ Alfredo Amezaga.
Well I just saw a story that will probably get a mixed reaction from Dodgers’ fans, although I would seriously doubt that there are Dodger fans that want to see Juan Pierre leave Los Angeles. However, there are Dodger fans that would rather see Pierre in the outfield instead of Manny Ramirez, but that’s a different debate for a different day.
